A global multi-disciplinary consultancy has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Renewables Engineer to join their environmental team in their Warrington offices. Within the role you will be working on predominately large scale wind farm/turbine projects for well respected clients.

Qualifications: For this role ideally candidates will have a BEng (or equivalent) in Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering. It is likely that the successful Senior Renewables Engineer will hold CEng / IStructE status.

Location: Warrington

Experience: In this instance candidates are sought with extensive experience in the design of wind turbine structures, preferably within a consultancy environment. It is anticipate that the successful applicant will also have experience of fatigue and fracture assessments, finite element modeling and extreme load assessments. Applicants with proven client facing skills will be at an advantage.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Duties:

• Working on the design on wind turbines

• Undertaking all relevant technical assessments

• Client liaison

• Co-ordination with other internal departments

• Report writing
