A rapidly growing building services and sustainability consultancy has a fantastic position for a Sustainability Consultant to join them in their Essex offices. The position will involve working as part of a specialised team, delivering expert sustainable design advice to their clients. Typical projects include large scale commercial, residential and industrial developments.

Qualifications: For this role candidates are sought with a BSc / BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering / environmental discipline. Applicants with membership to an appropriate professional body will be at an advantage.

Location: Essex

Experience: Ideally applicants will have previous consultancy experience, undertaking BREEAM assessments, advising on energy efficiency and low carbon technologies. It is anticipated that the successful Sustainability Consultant will have one or more BREEAM accreditations and will have an EPC qualification.

Salary: £22,000 - £30,000

Duties:

• Undertaking BREEAM assessments

• Liaison with the design team

• Client liaison

• Preparing recommendations

• Report writing
