Due to expansion, our client a dynamic sustainability consultancy has a new opening for a Energy and Sustainability Consultant to join their Bournemouth offices. Working as part of their experienced design team the successful Energy and Sustainability Consultant will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in predominately the multi-residential and housing sectors.

Qualifications: Suitable candidates will have a BSc / BEng (or equivalent) in a relevant environmental / science / engineering discipline and hold a appropriate professional accreditation, ideally BREEAM / Code for Sustainable Homes / SBEM / SAP.

Location: Bournemouth commutable from Poole, Dorchester, Blandford Forum

Salary: £18,000 - £21,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Experience: For this position applications are sought from candidates with previous experience of preparing planning statements and undertaking sustainable building assessments such as BREEAM / Code for Sustainable Homes assessments. Applicants with SAP / SBEM / Passive Homes assessment experience will be at an advantage 

Duties:

• Preparing planning statements
• Delivering high quality written reports
• Undertaking technical assessments (BREEAM / CfSH / SAP / SBEM)
• Keeping a up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation's
• Project management
