An independent ecological consultancy is looking to expand the team in the Oxfordshire based office with a Senior Ecologist. My client has built up an excellent relationship with a diverse range of clients in the public and private sectors, through understanding their needs and ensuring project success while meeting ecological requirements.

The ideal Senior Ecologist will be qualified to degree level with at least 3 year's experience in ecological consultancy where you will have worked on a variety of projects. You will have experience of carrying out protected species and habitat surveys, and have a good knowledge of EcIA. You will have excellent client facing skills and a good understanding of ecological principles and policies.

The Senior Ecologist role will involve co-ordinating and leading a range of projects. You will be responsible for a small team of ecologists; ensuring work is completed on time and to budget. You will be expected to liaise with a number of clients, advising them on ecological management issues. Other duties will include report writing and project management.
