A multidisciplinary consultancy with an office in Cambridge is recruiting for a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team ASAP.

The company is one of the largest in the industry, providing services to a range of sectors and working on some of the best developments in the world. They a network of offices throughout the UK and have experienced steady growth throughout 2008.

They are aiming to strengthen their Geotechnical team and are recruiting for an engineer with previous consultancy experience. To be considered you must have several years experience in the sector, a strong first degree and a post graduate qualification relevant to Geotechnics.

The salary will be based on your experience and there is a great benefits package for the successful applicant.

Duties

• Preparing tender submissions for prospective work

• Designing and managing the site investigation process

• Geotechnical design of slopes, foundations, earthworks and retaining structures

• Risk assessments

• Supervision of project workers

• Liaising with clients & regulatory authorities
