Contaminated Land Consultant

East Midlands, UK

Salary : £22 - 26K

Qualifications – BSc Geology or an earth science discipline. Ideally followed with an MSc in an Environmental Engineering discipline (e.g. contaminated land)

Experience - Good working knowledge of geoenvironmental and geotechnical engineering practices.

Salary - £22-26k (depending on professional experience)

Company - Specialist Ground Engineering Consultancy

Duties:

  • Detailed desk studies (Phase I)

  • Site visits to undertake environmental investigations (Phase II)

  • Collection and interpretation of technical data

  • Production of technical reports and PRA reports

  • Project management of small-medium sized investigations

  • Client and local authority liaison

  • Liaison with property developers and legal personnel

  • Due Diligence investigations

Typical Projects:

  • Working on contaminated land investigations across the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire regions.
