Risk and Asset Management Consultant

Salary : £30K+

An excellent opportunity to join a world class international research consultancy with a key strategic office in Wiltshire. You will be working as part of a larger multidisciplinary team, solving environmental problems within the water and waste management sectors. Working within the asset management team you will provide a range of services including risk management, strategic planning data management and service performance.

Qualifications – A degree in an environmental or engineering discipline. This could be followed by an MSc in a hydrology/water resources related discipline

Experience - A good working knowledge of the water industry particularly in the areas flood risk analysis and asset management

Salary - up to £30k with benefits package (commensurate with experience)

Staff - Over 150 UK employees, ranging from environmental scientists through to civil engineers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Asset data ‘health checks’ to assess quality/quantity/accuracy of data

  • Risk assessment and management

  • Performance and serviceability assessment of assets

  • Performance and condition modelling for the purpose of forecasting

  • Deterioration analysis

  • Strategy development for rehabilitation and maintenance planning

  • Operations and capital cost modelling

  • Developing best practice manuals for stakeholders

  • Provision of expert witness services

  • Infrastructure/pipeline asset condition, risk assessment and failure analysis

  • Client liaison
