A leading consultancy is looking for an experienced and ambitious hydrogeologist to project manage and provide technical leadership to a dynamic team which operates out of Exeter. You will be working on a wide range of water resource and contaminated groundwater for a range of clients both in the UK and overseas

Qualifications – An MSc in Hydrogeology and/or Water Resources. Full UK driving licence. Chartered (or working towards chartered status)

Experience - Proven project management experience, with a strong technical background in groundwater flow modelling and catchment management.

Salary - Up to £40k plus benefits

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Developing the hydrogeological business both in the UK and overseas (particularly the Middle East)

• Preparation of EIA and ES documents to support planning applications for groundwater extractions/commercial developments/quarrying/mining/landfill.

• Maintaining relationships with existing clients whilst seeking new avenues of business

• Groundwater flow modelling

• Water resource assessments

• Low flow investigation work

• Drilling and commissioning of groundwater production

• Catchment management (protection of water quality)

• Technical and interpretative report writing

• Peer reviewing of colleagues work

• Mentoring and development of team members
