A Senior Bridge Engineer is needed to join an Engineering Company based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will be suitably educated, hopefully chartered or working towards chartership and will be experienced in bridge design\review. The role will be 90% office based from Swindon and you will work on about 30 jobs a year. The starting salary for this role is between £30-45k depending on your experience.

Qualifications – BSc in Civil\Structural Engineering (others considered) with an MSc in Structural Engineering/Civil Engineering (or similar). A full driving license is essential. Chartership status is preferred.

Working as a Senior Bridge Assessment your duties will include:

• Review bridge and earthwork designs

• Ensure construction methodology on site is suitable

• Ensure bridges are built to specification

• Report writing

• Liaising with clients

• Knowledge of rail structures an advantage

Typical Projects:

• You will be reviewing and assessing bridge designs in and around the Swindon area.
