Our client is a multinational company with 40,000 employees in 900 offices worldwide and require a Mechanical Engineer Surveyor specialising in working in pressure plants conducting in-depth examinations and writing and distributing inspection reports. You will be able to work in confined spaces and will provide training to other engineer surveyors and identify possible business opportunities. This role is home based and you will travel around the Suffolk area undertaking inspections. The starting salary for this role is between £27-29k depending on your relevant experience.

Qualifications – ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. A full driving license is essential.

Experience - 3+ years experience in the mechanical pressure field

Working as a Mechanical Engineer Surveyor your duties will include:

• Conduct in depth examinations of pressure plants
• Formulate, produce and distribute inspection reports
• Liaising with clients
• Good knowledge of current legislation
• Provide training for other engineer surveyors as needed
• Identify possible business opportunities
• Ability to work in confined spaces
