Duties Include:

Management of Ecological Surveys and Field Assessments
-
Provide specialist input on Forestry Habitats and Tree Species
-
Management, Training and Supervision of Junior Staff
-
Establishing the condition of trees on Main Roads/ Highways/ Junctions
-
Providing Advice on Landscape/ Tree planting schemes
-
Working to strict Deadlines and Budgets
-
Directing designers/ Construction Workers on possible impacts to adjacent trees and hedgerows
-
Reviewing Reports/ Proposals and Updating Records
-
Liaison with Clients/ Local Authorities
Typical Projects:
Directing Consultants within the Environmental Team you shall be leading Ecological Assessments on Tree species and Habitats and reporting to the Team Leader. Implementing you technical knowledge of protected species, legislation and policy that protects certain flora and fauna you shall be providing input on multidisciplinary Highways and Construction projects.
