We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Consultant to further develop their career in a leading UK corporation who provide research and consultancy services to the environmental sector both in the UK and overseas. Their broad range of services are offered to industries both in the public and private sectors in particular Developers, Industry, Local Authorities and Central Government. The company’s expertise are based around Water quality, air pollution and radiological emissions assessment and modeling in addition to Contaminated Land and Environmental Litigation.

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Qualifications:

PhD/MSc/BSc in an Environmental based discipline

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years environmental consultancy experience

• Knowledge of relevant legislation at EU and UK level

• Proven experience of current dispersion modelling packages

• Highly developed report writing skills

• Advanced communication and customer management skills

Duties

• Conducting field surveys

• Data interpretation

• Technical report writing

• Environmental monitoring and assessment for contaminants within water, air, soil and sediment.

• Carrying out environmental impact assessments

• Conducting due diligence reports

• Design and implementation of specialist environmental monitoring programmes

• Development of relationships with existing internal and external clients providing active support to promote business development

• Expert witness evidence for Public Inquiries and Environmental Litigation cases

Projects

Provide research and consultancy services to industries in all sectors across the UK and abroad.
