Our client, a large environmental consultancy offering services in several areas of consultancy work including UKAS/MCERTS accredited Stack Emission Testing require a MCERTS Level 2 Qualified Team Leader to supply on site Emissions Monitoring services to industries in a variety of sectors and manage and train a team of air specialists in Manchester.

Salary: £25-35K depending on experience

Qualifications

Qualified to MCERTS Level 2 with Technical Endorsements

Experience

• Team leader experience in the fields of Power plant performance testing, Environmental testing and Power plant instrumentation and measurement systems.

• Computer literate with familiarity of Microsoft and other engineering application packages

• Strong team working, interpersonal, written and oral skills

• ECITB safety passport holder and or commensurate site experience

• Clean driving license

• Physically fit with an aptitude for the practical aspects of this investigational work.

Duties

• Acting as team leader to a team of stack emissions specialists

• Stack Emission Testing – To the MCERTS performance standard

• MCERTS Air Emissions Monitoring

• Environmental Consultancy

• Site Walkover and Assessment

• Implementation of Health and Safety guidelines

• Supporting Project Management duties

• Liaison with Clients/ Local Authorities

• Writing Technical Reports

• Expert Witness/Litigation Support

• Compliance Audits

• Training of junior staff

Projects

Deliver emissions testing services to industry including Power Generators (Gas, Coal, Oil, Biomass, & Alternative Fuel), Wood & Wood Based Product Manufacturers, Waste Incineration & Waste to Energy Plants, Chemical & Petrochemical Manufacturers and Landfill Operators (Flares & Engines).
