If you are a fully endorsed, MCERTS Level 2 certified Stack Emissions Team
Leader who is looking to diversify and develop their career within a highly
respected and rapidly expanding organisation then our client has an exciting
opportunity for you. Due to an increase in workload across all sectors this UKAS/MCERTS
accredited firm requires a fully qualified individual who is keen to develop new
business and contribute to expansion in the form of building and maintaining
client relationships across the UK.Successful applicants will enjoy a flexible working environment, working
remotely across the UK, visiting their South Humberside base at least once a
week.
Salary: £27– 35K + Benefits depending on experience
Qualifications:
-
Ideally degree qualified in Mechanical, Combustion,
Environmental or Thermodynamics engineering with additional apprenticeship
training
-
MCERTS level 2 certified - technical endorsements
1,2,3 and 4
Experience:
-
Highly technically literate
-
A strong commercial awareness proved through business development
achievements
-
Excellent interpersonal and people management skills.
-
Previous Team leader experience
-
Computer literate with familiarity of Microsoft and other engineering
application packages
-
Strong team working, interpersonal, written and oral skills
-
Clean driving license
Duties:
-
Acting as team leader to a team of stack emissions specialists
-
Stack Emission Testing – To the MCERTS performance standard
-
Quoting for work and compiling bid proposals
-
Project managing work conducted nationally and internationally – including
industrial emissions monitoring, ambient / workplace air quality and
occupational hygiene monitoring
-
Bringing new business to the company and increasing the annual sales
turnover
-
Maintaining the UKAS / MCERTS accreditation through technical and quality
systems management
-
Building and improving customer relationships through excellent service
and reliability
-
continual training to enable staff to gain MCERTS qualifications
-
Environmental Consultancy
-
Site Walkover and Assessment
-
Implementation of Health and Safety guidelines
-
Project Management duties
-
Liaison with Clients/ Local Authorities
-
Writing Technical Reports
Projects:
-
Monitoring Emissions from landfill engines and flares
-
Monitoring of pollutants from a wide range of processes including spraying
of aircraft parts, submarines and cars
-
Boiler/Turbine Monitoring
-
Monitoring emissions from Kilns
