Our Client, an international noise control organsiation with a highly respected reputation as a leading provider of noise control and acoustic products and aero-engine testing solutions have an urgent requirement for a Technical Sales Consultant to join their Ipswich branch. To be considered for the role you must possess a proven track record in technical sales in either the acoustic engineering sector or have previous sales experience with a major Gas Turbine OEM. You will be responsible for the service and support of key accounts; reacting promptly to market trends and supporting the Gas Turbine Account Manager.

Salary: £30-35K + benefits

Qualifications:

• MSc/BSc in Business, Engineering or a related subject area

• Ideally the Institute of Acoustics Post Graduate Diploma

Experience:

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to deliver results in line with Company Strategy

• Ability to analyse market trends/developments

• Skilled negotiator

• Strong Team Player

• Ability to react promptly to market trends/conditions

• Strong Technical, Sales and Marketing skills in Industry/Power Sector

• Proven Track record in successful selling and Account Management

• Profit/Results oriented

Duties:

• Maintain and develop key accounts within the UK Power Business Unit in-line with Company strategy

• Manage all aspects with respect to sales, order processing, and liaison with the internal drawing/project management departments to ensure smooth operation

• Maintain a good working relationship with key accounts and sub-contractors.

• Work alongside with the Power Team to achieve targets and budgets identified by the Company.

• Develop, Establish and maintain an annual marketing sales plan and annual budget

• Ensure financial aspects associated with order acceptance, sales invoicing, cost control, and resolution of accounts for individual projects are in line with company guidelines.
