A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a market leading industrial acoustics organisation specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of noise control and sound quality products to international markets. This large and successful firm has a network of offices across the globe supplying a diverse product range including TV and radio studios; audiology rooms; music practice rooms; aero-engine testing; noise solutions for power plant and anechoic chambers to major clients in over 40 countries.

They currently seek a bright, enthusiastic and dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join their Doors and Windows team within the Architectural department to assist with new and existing sales enquiries and to prepare costing, proposals and quotations for and with the Doors and Windows Sales Manager. This position will suit a highly motivated individual who is keen to develop their career and has the enthusiasm to contribute significantly towards the success of the team. The ideal candidate should be qualified to HNC/HND/Degree level in Mechanical Engineering, have previous sales experience in a technical/engineering environment and ideally have a good understanding of a second European language (French, Italian)(not essential).

Salary: £16K-22K + Bonus

Qualifications –

• HNC/HND/Degree Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• Previous experience within a technical sales role

• Strong knowledge of Word, Excel

• Excellent Telephone skills.

• Ideally experience of a second European language

• Highly organised and IT literate

• Exhibit excellent communication skills

• Self-motivated, able to learn quickly and to work independently to deadlines and targets

Duties:

• Assist with new and existing sales enquiries (both on the telephone and in written format).

• Prepare specific project costing, proposals, layout/information drawings, and quotations for and with the Door & Window Sales Manager.

• provide regular sales and activity reports

• provide product application advice to customers.

• Support the Inter-Company offices and promote Inter-Company business

• Work to agreed targets/tasks set by the Architectural Business Manager.

• Provide product application advice to Architectural customers and specifiers
