Salary: £26 - 30KQualification: You will preferably have a BSc or MSc in environmental science, environmental geoscience, contaminated land, hydrology, hydrogeology or similar. Experience: It is essential that you have prior contaminated land assessment experience; this role will ideally suit a candidate with prior consultancy experience although this is not essential. A working knowledge of undertaking human health and groundwater risk assessments along with producing interpretative site reports and ideally project management experience is desirable. A full driving license is also essential for this role. Salary: £26-30,000 Duties:
Typical Projects: This renowned environmental consultancy are set to expand in 2008 and are looking to fill an unusual opportunity for an environmental engineer. This is not a straight-cut geo-environmental role and will entail a mixture of duties ranging from site investigations, sampling and assessment to permitting and licensing. As such you will need to be adaptable, and a fast learner. A thorough knowledge of the environmental sector and a passion for the work they do is essential. This environmental consultancy offer environmental management services to an array of both private and public sector clients and are currently looking for a geo-environmental engineer to join their vibrant Swansea team. The role is diverse and varied and the successful individual will be involved in undertaking a variety of projects; predominantly geo-environmental but with some scope for assisting the other teams in Environmental Management and Waste Management.
