Waste Management Consultant

Qualifications: You will have a BSc or MSc in environmental science, recycling technology, civil, structural engineering or similar.

Experience: You will have a proven background in waste management with demonstrable project management experience. A sound technical knowledge is essential for this role.

Salary: £27-35,000 dependant upon experience

Duties:

• Creating, developing and implementing innovative waste minimization and recycling plans.

• Process engineering modelling; designing new and troubleshooting existing waste treatment processes.

• Conducting regional research and occasionally attending sites

• Implementing and monitoring sustainable waste strategies

• Site surveying and investigation

• Liaising with colleagues, contractors and specialists alike

• Some business development work including tender bid production and client management

A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the coastal town of Southampton for an experienced waste management consultant. This multidisciplinary consultancy are involved in delivering waste management advice and solutions to a variety of private and public sector clients within infrastructure. As such they are looking for an experienced engineer to join the engineering manager and assist in project management and supervision. This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative waste management engineer looking for new challenges and projects. With a sound waste management background and an understanding of model forms of procurement (ICE, JCT) and AutoCAD you will be looking for a new challenge within the waste management industry.
