Remediation Technician

Qualification: You will have a BSc or MSc in environmental science, environmental geoscience, or similar

Experience: You will have proven geo-environmental experience working for either a contractor or a consultancy and will have a real drive to succeed along with a genuine passion for the sector.

Salary: £22-26,000

Duties:

• Assessing and investigating contaminated and brownfield sites

• Developing and implementing remedial strategies using a rang of on site treatment technologies

• Working with new chemical oxidation technologies to aid remedial clean up

• Producing factual and validation reports

• Liaising with clients to procure and nurture relationships

Typical Projects:

An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for an enthusiastic remediation engineer looking to join this growing team of design and build remediation engineers to work an exciting and complex projects based in both Cardiff and across the UK. The role requires high levels of commitment and you will be involved in projects throughout the UK providing you with significant exposure to remedial technologies and geo-environmental assessment. You are also provided with the unique opportunity to be involved in each project from initial assessment through to completion and there is genuine opportunity for career development. This is a fantastic for the right candidate who has a sound scientific background and true commitment to the role.
