Contaminated Land Risk Assessor

Qualification: You will have a BSc/ MSc in contaminated land, ground engineering, environmental science, geoscience or similar.

Experience: You will need to have a proven contaminated land background gained through working for a consultancy or contractor previously. A full driving license is essential for this role.

Salary: £23-29,000 dependant upon experience

Duties:

• Design and delivery of geo-environmental investigations to include;

• Undertaking phase 1 desk studies and site walkovers

• Gas and groundwater monitoring and reporting

• In situ testing of soil and groundwater

• Phase 2 investigations along with logging soil and rock samples in accordance to BS5930

• Undertaking qualitative, semi-qualitative and quantitative risk assessments; use of CLEA, SNIFFER software

• Landfill design and delivery of remedial proposals

• Factual and interpretive report writing
