Geo-Environmental Consultant

Qualifications: You will have a relevant BSc or MSc, preferably in environmental science, geoscience, contaminated land or similar.

Experience: You will have prior experience of working for either a consultancy or contractor previously and will have a sound working knowledge of phase 1 and 2 investigation along with phase 3 remediation. You will also have a proficient knowledge of CLR 11.

Salary: £24-29,000

Duties:

• Site investigations and walkovers

• Undertaking phase 1 desk studies and phase 2 site investigations

• Producing both interpretive and factual reports

• Human health and groundwater risk assessments

• Project financing/ budgeting/ costing

• Some project management/ supervision as/ where necessary

• Use of CLR 11 contaminated land model procedures
