We have an urgent requirement for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer for an international multidisciplinary consultancy based near Reading. This award winning organisation are seeking chartered candidates with a civil engineering background and a wealth of commercial experience working in the geotechnical industry.

It is essential that candidates have a BEng Civil Engineering ideally with a further qualification in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

Suitable candidates will have experience working at Principal level within a geotechnical department for a consultancy.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and management of all geotechnical projects. This will include designing and implementing geotechnical site investigations, preparing interpretive and technical reports, liaising with local authorities and subcontractors. You will have budgetary control and will be expected to manage and monitor the business unit finances. Further to this, you will manage and mentor a team of geotechnical engineers.
