Graduate Remediation Engineer - Manchester

We are seeking a junior remediation engineer for a UK leading ground engineering contractor based near Manchester. Due to major contract awards this rapidly expanding client are now looking for civil engineering graduates who wish to develop a career as a junior remediation project manager.

The successful candidate will assist in undertaking and managing intrusive site investigations on hazardous sites, designing site investigations and remediation systems including in/ex situ bioremediation works, vacuum extraction and chemical stabilisation. In addition to this you will be involved in the preparation of factual, interpretive and validation reports.

You will be responsible for many aspects of site and office work. Suitable candidates will demonstrate management qualities such as an ability to develop client and sub-contractor liaison and oversee large complex site investigations.

We are looking for candidates with an excellent academic background, the preferred subject is Civil Engineering.
