We are urgently seeking an experienced Data Centre Performance Engineer to assist on a contract for an international multidisciplinary consultancy based in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding Building Engineering Team within an award winning organisation.

It is essential that applicants are educated to Masters Level in Mechanical Engineering or similar related discipline. Suitable applicants will have experience in designing the mechanical infrastructure associated with data centres and will have worked on a range of projects of varied scale and complexity. A high level of proficiency in Computational Fluid Dynamics is also essential and must include familiarity with 6Sigma and 3D Datacentre.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design of mechanical systems for data centres, including the design of new schemes. A large proportion of time will be spent implementing CFD analysis and compiling reports based on analyses. The role will involve extensive use of 6Sigma and Flovent 3D.

This position will incorporate client liaison so candidates will be required to demonstrate a high level of verbal communication and presentation skills.
