This is an amazing opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a large, well established consultancy firm with offices across the UK. Successful candidates must be hard working individuals who have gained or are actively seeking to achieve Chartered Status. In addition candidates will have a proven track record of managing multi disciplinary projects. Chosen candidates will be offered a healthy start up salary of £28-36,000 (depending on experience) as well as a healthy benefits package.

Suitable Qualifications:

-Must be educated to a degree level in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
-Obtained or actively seeking to achieve Chartered Engineer status
-Proven track record of effectively managing multi-disciplinary projects
-Clear understanding of specification, stimulation and modelling techniques such as AutoCAD and ESPR
-Competent in using Microsoft office packages
-Ability to work well under your own initiative with minimal supervision

Duties:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be expected to;
-Take control in managing projects as well as mentoring junior staff
-Conduct client meetings
-Producing detailed briefs on both mechanical and design service requirements
-Generate calculated recommendations
-Influence building design according to calculations
-Produce outline, scheme and design reports.
