Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Glasgow
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: £30000 - £40000 per annum

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Geotechnical Design Engineer to join an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy in their Glasgow offices. If successful you would be joining one of the world's major multidisciplinary environment and energy consultancies.
The ideal candidate will have:
*At least 5 years UK geotechnical experience.
*Experience in finite element analysis, ideally using PLAXIS.
*Previou
s experience in the design of foundations, piles, slopes and earthworks.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
In this position your duties will include:
*The design of complex geotechnical structures for the infrastructure and energy markets.
*Liaising with clients from the public and private sectors.
*Mentoring and supervising junior team members.
*Project management; financial and technical.
