Private Environmental Consultancy with offices throughout the UK are actively looking for a Town Planner to join an existing team based in Leeds and play an active part in a number of existing UK based projects.
Recognised in the industry, our client covers a wide range of work including Residential, Commercial and Mix-Use all with a strong environmen
tal slant. The Town Planner role will report to the head of department, which will allow you to cover all aspects of the planning process including planning proposals & submissions and working in close proximity with the customer.
To apply the Town Planner will ideally have 4+ years post-graduate experience and hold a degree and/or master that is RTPI recognised. Ideally you will have already have achieved full MRTPI membership but as long as you are working towards it then they will help you complete this process.
All Town Planners will demonstrate project experience across various sectors covering all areas of the planning process and if you have also acted as a mentor to junior staff checking workloads prior to submission that would be a bonus.
The Town Planner position is very client focused therefore you will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be happy to meet clients in order to full understand the project needs.
