We have an outstanding opportunity for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join an Independent Engineering Consultancy in their Newcastle Offices. This is an outstanding opportunity for young, dynamic and enthusiastic engineers to progress in their professional career.
Responsibilities:
*Phase 1 desk studies
*Phase 2 intrusive site investigation
*Gas & groundwater monitoring & sampling
*Factual &
interpretative report writing
*Site supervision
Candidates should have previous consultancy experience providing technical assistance & guidance to geoenvironmental ground engineering projects and it would be beneficial for you to have a strong commercial awareness and local knowledge of soil conditions.
You will be expected to have achieved an engineering related degree and it would be beneficial for candidates to specialise in contaminated land. A sound understanding of soil science and knowledge of environmental principals is essential for the role.
