We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Principal Ecologist/Team Manager to join a UK based engineering and management consultancy, specialising in many property, industrial and environmental sectors. This hugely diverse company requires an experienced Principal Ecologist/Team Manager to join one of their nationally recognised offices in the North of England.
Salary - £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.
It is essential
that previous sales and business experience has been exercised within an ecological consultancy background.
Applicants should also ideally possess extensive ecological consultancy experience at a Principal level. Further EIA and EcIA experience is valued, coupled with demonstrable project management and team leadership within a consultancy environment.
An experienced Principal Ecologist is required to manage and run and expanding team of professional Ecologists within the Northern parts of England. You will report to the regional Associate Ecologist and Technical Director of Ecology.
Candidates will actively work within a commercial consultancy environment, undertaking tasks such as:
* Technical report writing
* Stakeholder negotiations
* Project management (Renewable projects)
* Team leadership
* GIS habitat mapping
