We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Phase 1 surveyor to join a leading environmental consultancy within the Midlands. This award winning company provide expertise in a range of sectors including Landscape, Urban Planning, Arboriculture and Ecology, and are looking for an experienced Phase 1 surveyor to increase their botanical expertise within a Derby based office.

A surveyor with excellent botanical identification abilities (lowland species in particular) is required to help provide expert advice to a portfolio of clients in the public and private sectors amongst the Midlands. This experience will ideally be demonstrated within a consultancy background.

In order to be considered for this position, you must hold the following:
*Experience working on Phase 1 and extended Phase 1 habitat surveys
*Experience working on NVC surveys
*Understanding of UK environmental legislation
*Strong botanical identification skills
*Full UK driving license
*IEEM membership

A competitive salary ranging from £18-22,000 will be offered.
