Salary: £20000 - £23000 per annum + Negotiable

Our client is a specialist ecological consultancy which provides high quality ecological services across the Midlands in both the public and private sector. With a professional team of ecologists they are well placed to provide comprehensive services, including flora and fauna surveys, mitigation schemes and bat monitoring expertise.
Due to an expanding workload, this highly recommended consultancy are looking to appoint an experienced Ecologist
to join their team based in Nottingham.
Salary - Negotiable and depends on skills and experience
Academic Qualifications - relevant degree in an environmental science (BSc or MSc in ecology, zoology, etc)
Professional Qualifications - full IEEM membership plus atleast one protected species licence eg Bat/GCN.
Experience - Candidates must hold a strong consultancy background in ecology, coupled with demonstrable field work and survey experience. Report writing skills will be strong with a good knowledge and understanding preparing EPS license applications. A strong understanding of the SNH would be advantageous.
The position offers the scope for an experienced Ecologist to undertake a broad range of ecology projects and due to the specialist nature of the company, employees are actively encouraged to continue to develop their own niche areas of interest such as ornithology, botany, freshwater or mammal ecology.
