A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a successful and renowned team working for a specialist and independent IT services group. The ideal Building Surveyor will have:
*A quality degree in a relevant discipline, MRICS preferred
*Ideally 2+ years' post graduate experience as a Building Surveyor
*Excellent working knowledge of IT and AutoCAD
*Working knowledge of CDM regulations and building contracts
*A valid UK driving licence
As a Building Surveyor you will hold many responsibilities and be a firm member of the facilities management team. You will be based from within the Birmingham office, but will be expected to visit various other group locations to complete quality reports and surveys. You will control and monitor all minor works and alteration, complete both planned and emergency repairs and maintenance and prepare drawings using AutoCAD. The successful Building Surveyor will assist in managing facilities including HVAC maintenance and alarms and office equipment.
