A world renowned engineering design consultancy is currently seeking a talented Geotechnical Engineer to join them in their offices based near Chessington, Greater London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to join a firm of highly experienced Engineers and work on a number of high profile projects across the UK and overseas.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience in the desig n of geotechnical structures for the infrastructure, commercial and industrial markets. You will also have excellent report writing skills and will be happy regularly liaising with clients, regulators and subcontractors. For this position we would be looking for someone who is degree qualified in Civil Engineering and (ideally) has an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, or another closely related discipline.

In the position of Geotechnical Design Engineer your responsibilities will include:
*The design of; foundations, slopes, piles, earthworks and other complex geotechnical structures related to the infrastructure market.
*Mentoring junior team members.
*Liaising with clients on a regular basis.
*Assisting with bid and tender preparation.
