Senior Ecologist - Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Our client is on the lookout for a suitably qualified Senior Ecologist to help lead a team of professional consultants across the Northern stretches of England.
Main duties of the role will include:
*Managing existing workloads and projects within the ecological sector
*Procuring new ecological work with the Northern based Principal Ecologist
*Developing the skill sets of junior members of staff
within the ecological team
*Preparing tenders and proposals
*Financial management
*Line management
*Surveying a range of protected species and habitats
Applicants should apply for this position if you have an exemplary background holding a managerial position within an Ecological consultancy. This will demonstrate first management and surveying abilities, helping to maintain and increase the companies Northern based Ecological team in terms of personnel and workload. Relevant protected specie licences would be preferred to demonstrate your survey experience.
A full CIEEM membership, chartered environmentalist status and clean UK driving license will also be sought after.
