Senior Geotechnical Engineer - Glasgow
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: £28000 - £36000 per annum

We are currently working with a major international energy and environment consultancy; they are urgently looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, with extensive design experience, to join them in their Glasgow offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with sufficient engineering experience to join a world-renowned multidisciplinary consultancy and work on many high-profile projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
*A minimum of 5 years geotechnical experience.
*Experience working on wind farm projects.
* A degree in Civil Engineering or Geology and (ideally) an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology.
*Excellent report writing skills.
In this position your duties will include:
*The design of geotechnical structures related to wind farms on and offshore.
*Supervising and mentoring junior team members.
*Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators.
*Working closely with colleagues from other engineering disciplines.
