Specialist Private Sector Consultancy with an office on the outskirts of Oxford currently require an Associate Town Planner to help look after a number of key environmental based planning projects across the South East as well as play an active part in business development and
mentoring a number of planners.
Being very well known in the South East they play an active part in leading key projects as well as working in conjunction with other specialist consultancies. They cover work within both the Private and Public sector and this will include Residential, Mix-Use, Renewable Energy and Commercial.
The Associate Town Planner will, as mentioned be responsible for leading a team on a number of projects delegating tasks in a timely manner as well as playing a part in new business development and then identifying the required resources. You will be able to demonstrate experience in pitching to clients in the past and also have a thorough understanding of planning legislation across South East and further afield.
To apply the Associate Town Planner will have been within the planning industry for probably 5-8 years as a minimum (Public or Private), be fully MRTPI qualified, with other qualifications being a distinct advantage.
The Associate Town Planner will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liase closely with clients as well as other departments of the business and have a comprehensive approach to presenting and negotiating proposals and tenders.
