Senior Structural CAD Technician

We are currently recruiting a Senior Structural CAD Technician for a Structural Engineering Consultancy in their Liverpool based office.
The idea candidate will hold a strong Civil Engineering or Building Studies qualification and extensive Draughtsman experience is required, ideally currently working in a similar position, with a keen knowledge of the relevant IT packages such as Revit and AutoCAD and PDS.
The role
will consist of developing working drawings from the sketches prepared by the Engineers and assisting with site inspections and surveys with the support of the Engineers. The position will also require the day to day writing of reports, a clear understanding of relevant construction industry practices and legislation and the ability to confidently support more junior members of staff.
As this is the opportunity to join a Structural Engineering team it is integral that candidates have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients and to head up a team of CAD Technicians.
