A P402 qualified Asbestos Consultant has a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative company specialising in the manufacturing of infra-red technology. Their forward-thinking approach has gained them acclaim within the industry and has built a strong portfolio of clients involved with the development of molecular analysis. As a number of their projects con tinue to grow, they require an Asbestos expert to join their Building Services team.

The ideal Asbestos Consultant must have a minimum of 18 months experience in an Asbestos Surveying role, preferably with a UKAS accredited company. Exceptional communication and organisational skills are a must as liaising with clients is a large part of the role, as well as with management and a fellow consultant's. P402 qualification is essential and other professional credentials would be beneficial. A strong understanding of the Asbestos discipline and regulations involved are necessary in order to be successful as an Asbestos Consultant.

The main duties of an Asbestos Consultant include:
*Carrying out asbestos surveys - management, refurbishment and demolition
*Developing asbestos management plans for the company's clients
*Ensuring all surveys are undertaken in accordance with relevant legislation
*Maintaining an organised approach to all projects, handling all date and documentation in an effective manner
*Monitoring budgets and timescales, completing planned projects in keeping with all limits
*Liaising with management and clients regularly, on-site and from home
*Undertaking asbestos re-inspections

The successful Asbestos Consultant is required to travel and to work away from home but is rewarded with an attractive salary and benefits package, including pension scheme and company vehicle.
