A job for an experienced Environmental Consultant has opened up within one of the worlds leading environmental consultancy firms. Our client is an award winning company that employs thousands of staff in over 50 countries, working amongst 12 key business areas.

Due to a period of sustained growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Consultant to join a busy, vibrant team in Scotland.

Working out of a Glasgow office, the right candidate will help in providing expert consultancy within a range of environmental services including:

1.Environment and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)
2.Environmental due diligence
3.Permitting
4.Environmental management

Applicants will ideally possess a Masters degree (MSc) or equivalent in an environmental discipline, coupled with at least three years experience working in an environmental consultancy. Proven technical ability in terms of problem solving, business development and analytical thinking will be sought after, ideally with a knowledge and understanding working in the power, oil and gas sectors.

A knowledge and understanding of writing EIA's for wind farms, transmission and oil & gas projects would be advantageous.

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000.
