This is an unbelievable opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Building Services) to join an award winning property and construction consultants practice, on a permanent basis. Our client is major player in the UK and is comprised of a number of expert designers, architects and engineers. Our client is currently on the look out for a
Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team in Reading. Candidates must be prepared to do a high level of travel connected with current projects and this may sometimes involve some overnight stays away from home. The chosen candidates will be responsible for UK wide projects liaising with clients and key stakeholders. The successful candidates will be rewarded with a generous salary of £32-40,000 plus car.
In order to be seriously considered for this position candidates must come from a strong Mechanical background, ideally degree calibre individuals or with equal, relevant experience. It is essential that candidates are capable of managing a key portfolio of projects in various locations and are able to review designs against client specifications and undertake value engineering.
Working as a Mechanical Engineer you are required to deliver challenging projects across sectors. The role will involve pre- meetings and handover/snagging all of which will take place on site. Current projects are in the retail, education and commercial sectors involving refurbishment and condition surveys. Candidates should be IT proficient. The use of a company car will be provided when working on high mileage project.
