An accredited consultancy specialising in Health and Safety Services is looking to expand their Asbestos Division and has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Asbestos Consultant. With state of the art technology, they are unrivalled in their ability to provide exceptional air analysis and testing services for both public and private prop
erties.
The ideal Asbestos and Environmental Consultant will be qualified to P402 or equivalent and will have previous experience in this role. A background in Health and Safety would be beneficial, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation. A positive attitude towards team-work must be displayed and a genuine passion for Health and Safety. A proven understanding of the different types of asbestos surveys is a must and the capability to act quickly when locating hazardous areas and risk zones within a property. The preferably candidate will have experience and/or qualifications in other HSE areas, for example fire safety as the role will require the Consultant to partake in all aspects of the HSE Compliance Services provided.
An Asbestos and Environmental Consultant's main duties include:
*Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys followed by regular re-inspections
*Communicating effectively with clients and providing asbestos management plans
*Completing surveys in compliance with all legislation and the company's policies and procedures
*Providing a high standard of Health and Safety service to all clients
Full training will be provided for all other aspects in HSE. The role requires regular travel and so our client rewards their Asbestos Consultant's with a generous benefits package as well as a competitive salary. Benefits can include paid expenses, pension scheme and company vehicle.
