An Environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Consultant to provide Permitting and Regulatory guidance to their international client base. Specialising in renewable energy and risk assessment, our client is part of an evolving market and deliver outstanding professional services. Our client is seeking a successful and exp erienced individual to act as ambassador for Environmental Compliance and Regulation.

The ideal Senior Permitting Consultant will have experience in a similar role - preferably five years and within a consultancy. You will approach the role with a determined and enthusiastic attitude and will communicate effectively with your peers, management and clients. As Senior Permitting Consultant you must have a proven background with Environmental Permitting regulations, relevant Environmental legislation and the Industrial Emissions Directive. It would be advantageous if this experience was within the Waste Management sector but is not essential to the role.

Your main duties as Senior Environmental Consultant include:
*Undertaking Environmental Risk Assessments
*Arranging and leading technical meetings in regards to regulatory agreements
*Providing effective advice and guidance throughout the process of environmental permit applications
*Demonstrating strong knowledge and understanding of your role, acting as the point of contact for all issues regarding permitting and regulation
*Managing projects and completing reviews and audits
*Supervising sub-contractors and handling invoices
