Ecological Consultant - South Wales - £22,000 - £28,000
A leading international engineering consultancy is looking to expand the environmental team in South Wales with an Ecological Consultant. This is a great opportunity to further your career within a professional company, with a reputation for delivering high quality services to a range of clients.
The ideal Ecological Consultant will have at least 3 year
s' experience within UK consultancy, being able to demonstrate excellent field skills, including strong botanical ID skills. Any protected species licences will be highly beneficial. You will have experience of managing small and medium sized projects, leading survey teams, and will have excellent report writing skills.
As an Ecological Consultant you will be working as part of the national ecology team on a variety of projects. You will be involved with carrying out ecological surveys and desk based research, as well as being a main point of contact with clients and contractors. You will prepare proposals and ecological reports including ecology chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments.
