Our client is a rapidly expanding specialist ecological consultancy. There is an requirement for an Ecologist to join their diverse and unique team, providing high quality ecological advice to the renewable energy market.

Salary - £20,000 to £25,000 depending on relevant ecological experience.

Candidates are required with demonstrable ecological experience in a consulting environment. This must show experience working on a range of survey s as well as understanding the Scottish market and habitat. At least one protected species license will be sought after, coupled with good GIS and report writing skills.

Responsibilities include:
1. Leading the field survey team in undertaking Extended Phase 1 habitat surveys and protective species surveys;
2. Preparation of Technical Reports;
3. Preparation of Environmental Statement chapters; and
4. Project Management.
