Principal Engineering Geologist
Location: Gloucestershire, England South West
Salary: £35000 - £45000 per annum

We are currently seeking an experienced Principal Engineering Geologist to join a leading Ground Engineering Contractor based in Gloucestershire.
Candidates will have achieved a first degree in Geology or associated subject and would have also achieved post graduate qualifications in Engineering Geology. It would be beneficial for you to have reached Chartered Status with a recognised professional body having gained a minimum of 8 years profe
ssional Engineering Geology exposure.
You shall be technically aware of geological & geohazard investigations for Civil Engineering purposes and have a strong understanding of evaluating large sites. This will include landslide investigations, assessment of ground conditions and project management.
It is expected that you will have a sound understanding of geological software and experience in numerous sectors including rail, highways, offshore and nuclear. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills are essential for client liaison, people management and senior management meetings.
