This is a great opportunity for a Structural CAD Technician to join a well established, successful engineering consultancy in a fun, friendly and motivated team based in Aylesbury. Our client has a very strong reputation and is currently looking to expand the team due to increased workload. The ideal candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD
and three years+ experience of technical drawings using AutoCAD from a consultancy environment. It is essential that candidates have the ability to read and understand architectural drawings under the guidance of a Structural Engineer. In addition candidates should be able to draw and detail building elements in steel, concrete, masonry and timber. Experience in Reinforced Concrete would be an advantage though not essential.
Working as a Structural CAD Technician you will;
-Produce bending schedules and issue sheets
-Print drawings
-Upload & download drawings
-Send drawings by email
-Ensure drawings are presented in accordance with company standards.
This position may be permanent or contract depending on the candidate.
