We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Environmental Scientist to join a leading UK based Engineering & Environmental Consultancy based in Surrey. This is an outstanding opportunity to expand on your technical expertise and work on leading development projects across the South East.
Candidates will be competent and will have an excellent understanding of environmental legislation related to Contaminated Land, Environmental Risk Assessment including, gas r
isk assessments and controlled waters. A further knowledge of phase 1 desk studies, phase 2 site investigation and interpretation of site data.
You will be expected to be educated to MSc level in an Environmental Sciences related degree subject and have previous Consultancy experience developing your exposure to contaminated land investigation. Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills are highly essential.
The role will offer the ideal candidate an opportunity to develop their knowledge working on contaminated land projects through active training and achieving Chartership with a recognised Professional Engineering body.
