This is a great opportunity for a Principal Bridge Engineer to join an International, award winning multidisciplinary consultancy in a highly experienced, dynamic, fun and friendly team based in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of technical outputs of projects and ensuring that client's briefs are always
met. It is essential that candidates are Chartered and have all round Highways, Bridges and Structures experience. Successful applicants will be rewarded with a healthy start salary of £34-50,000 plus benefits.
In order to be seriously considered for this Senior Bridge Engineering role candidates must have gained a degree in a relevant discipline and will have achieved Chartered status and be a member of a relevant professional institution. Candidates should have a thorough working knowledge of the relevant technical standards for the role including DMRB and capable of using industry standard software and analysis techniques. In addition you must have extensive experience in the O&M aspects of Trunk Roads in the UK.
Working as a Principal Bridge Engineer you will;
-Be involved in aspects of Highways design to national and local/ other standards
-Develop viable solutions at all stages including alignment design, pavement design, earthworks, modelling, drainage design, specifications and drawings
-Contribute to technical excellence and innovation of the team
-Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
-Lead projects and communicate well both written and verbal
