Graduate Flood Risk Consultant

My Client, specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant to join their established Civil Engineering Team based in Attleborough.

It is essential that applicants have a BEng/BSc and/or MEng/MSc and in a relevant discipline (e.g. Civil Engineering or Hydrology) and ideally have experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing or reviewing Flood Risk Assessments or Hydraulic Modelling or Drainage Strategy and/or detailed SuDS design using AutoCAD and/or Microdrainage.

You are also required to have a keen interest in Surface Water Management Plans and Flood Estimation.

This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to join a bespoke team of Engineers based in Attleborough. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients.

As a Graduate Flood Risk Consultant you will be trained and supported by the friendly team to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Flood Estimation, Hydraulic Modelling using Hec-Ras, Flood Modeller, XPSWMM and Tuflow.

You will also be supported to complete Flood Risk Maps, Foul and Surface Water Drainage Strategy and detailed SuDS Design using Microdrainage, Civils 3D and AutoCAD.

Candidates will also have the opportunity to work on Pre-Planning, Transportation and Travel Planning Projects.
