My client, a leading landscape and garden design practice, are currently seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join their team based in Dorset. This practice offers expert services such as landscape architecture, landscape planning and design, planting and 3D visualisation to a wide range of client projects. This business work closely with their clients, offering technical advice and guidance throughout all aspects of their project. This organisation has a broad client group made up of architects, developers, local authorities, community groups and home owners.


  • Degree and postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
  • A minimum of two years' professional experience working within the landscape architecture sector
  • Demonstrable experience carrying out Landscape Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs)
  • Ability to produce high quality written reports and documents
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident liaising with a wide client group
  • Good working knowledge of industry standard software, e.g. AutoCAD, Vector Works Landmark, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Excellent graphic skills and attention to detail
  • Full, clean UK driving licence


Working as a Landscape Architect, you will be reporting to the Head of Studio and will be working with the landscape team on a range of day-to-day activities. You will be required to carry out LVIAs, including assessments and site surveys. You will also be involved with mitigation and constraints plans, visualisations and will be required to produce high quality reports. Further duties include landscape plans and designs, planning applications, master planning, design statements and feasibility studies.

You will work independently as well as with the wider team and will liaise with a wide and diverse client group. You will assist clients through all aspects of their projects and will identify opportunities for follow-up work. You will ensure excellent working relationships with all clients and colleagues, ensuring services are delivered to the highest possible standards.
